I blogged this place long time ago. I went back few times and their food never leave much impression on me. This time I went there for dessert. The Chocolate Waffle brownie Sundae is great. It’s basically a big warm chocolate brownie pressed into waffle shape and topped with vanilla ice cream. I felt a bit chocolate overdose by the end though, especially when the ice cream were gone (someone kept eating it). I wished I had coffee or milk to wash it down.
Sunday Brunch! 😀 This place was located right behind the epic scale blue Church of Scientology. ^^;; I heard lots of Scientologists eating here. Inside they have disclaimers on chalk board saying they used the fresh local ingredients.

Classic Egg Benedict: with smoked canadian bacon, baby spinach on english muffins with hollandaise sauce. $11 It’s good but I’ve had better. The spinach is a nice touch. The sides (forgot name) is this southern corn thing.

Baked eggs with fava beans, shitake and oyster mushroom ragout on grits with feta $10, warm and yummy! The garlic lemon chicken sausage is so-so, taste just like chopped meat that kept falling apart.

According to my friend who’s Korean, this place has the best Korean cold noodle in town~ Even though the place is quite big, got its own parking lot/valet, there’re always lines, especially for the BBQ tables. The noodles are light and chewy, good! The pancake is quite tasty too, though a bit too much ‘dough’.
We tried to go to this Indian restaurant near Redondo Beach but thanks to @$%^ traffic we got there too late, the restaurant is closing their lunch hours. Weak and starving, we dashed right to the pier and beach area…

We had Fresh Oyster $8 (jumbo ones, great silky texture but not as salty as small ones). The smallest fresh crab they have was 2 lb., $19 (oh good good~ but then also not as salty as I’d like).
