Tudor’s House (Santa Monica)

//// By in 16: Santa Monica

DSC06726.jpgSo I went back to try the scone. I love the dried blueberries and nut combine. The raspberry sauce is not quite enough for two pieces. Enjoyed it but still not craving it. ^^;; (I’m more of a mousse cake/pudding type than bread type)

DSC06720.jpgFor real, budget eating has started! I immediately thought of Porto’s Bakery and wish I can lunch there everyday, so cheap so delicious~ The cake is divine as always! The Black bean Grilled Chicken Sandwich is surprising good too (since I never liked black beans). And 1st pic are Cuban soda and Malta.

DSC06710.jpgSquash soup (sweet! nice!), Moussace (gratin of chickpeas, lentils, eggplant, mushrooms and onions spread between garlic mashed potatoes). Sloppy-ghetti (Veggie ground meat). All yummy~~

Yes Cafe (Alhambra)

Rose Tea, good!
DSC06670.jpgI hide away in this taiwanese cafe in Alhambra because it’s a safe haven at night: it is simply too old-fashioned to attract the Asian teenagers crowd. You know the nice, feminine and quiet kind where customers are all ma’ams and cheesy piano music of Careless Whisper were playing in the background. ^^;;; The homemade cakes are very Taiwanese style~

La Natura Yogurt

//// By in 18: Greater LA

DSC06658.jpgAdam recommended these Yogurt from Trader’s Joe, they’re really good (Cinnamon and ginger especially)! Best of all is the glass jar, that really makes a difference. ^^;; I survived on these for both lunch and dinner during busy days.
