Curry House (Sawtelle)

From last week when I was alone, back to Curry House again. The Crab Omelette was nice, a bit too sweet but still very nice. Oh the past weekend was hellish busy for both of us, basically stuck in office all day till 1am…:( I was glad to have dine out during workdays. ^^:;

The smoked scallop with caviar and ikura is no longer on their menu!! XO Unfortunately the dishes we order this time were all very oily and none of us drank beer. The top left pic Stuffed Squash with Olive Pate is the best.

Lunch with Yan again (quiche two days in a roll and the pic looks practically the same as the entry before ^^;;). Since that last visit this place has been my regular lunch place, almost once a week. 😀 Their quiche is particularly good. If I were to setup a keyword archive of my blog and took pix of all the meal I had here…I’d have a lot of quiche entries ^^;; The Pear Tart is excellent~!

Jin Patisserie (Abbot Kinney)

Lunch here with Yan, who worked in Bl:nd at Santa Monica and has became my lunch buddies. So I’ve tried their cakes, chocolates and big cake, I realized they have lunch sets too. Two kinds: Quiche or Sandwich. The Quiche are ok, but the sandwich was too plain (nothing inside by regular ham and salad green, and a thin stingy barely noticable slice of butter). -,-;;; The cakes came with the sets are very mini-bite size, my Louvre was very frozen and old. Next time just stick with their cakes. I have yet to try their Afternoon tea set though…^^;;;
